Tasha
Tasha
Team: NFL – Washington Redskins Cheerleaders, Washing Redskins Cheerleader Ambassador
Prior to her pro career, Tasha attended George Mason University and earned a Bachelors of Art in Dance. Shortly after graduation, she moved to Dallas to study with Dallas Black Dance Theatre. In 2011, she returned to the DMV area to pursue a Masters of Art in Arts Management and to also begin training in hopes to becoming a Washington Redskins Cheerleader.
Tasha is no stranger to perseverance and determination. After three audition attempts and the help of Sildeline Prep, she earned a spot on her dream team. Tasha was a part of the Game Day Staff in the front lobby for one season, an Ambassador for one season, and (finally!) she performed as a Cheerleader for four seasons. During her fourth season she served as a co-captain. She is honored to be a part of Sideline Prep as an Accountability Coach and is looking forward to helping hopefuls fulfill their dreams.
In 2014, after completing her rookie season as a Redskins Cheerleader, Tasha was inspired to start a non-profit organization to mentor young ladies to have a positive mindset through the art of dance. Currently, Positive Outcome Mentoring & Dance (P.O.M. Squad) serves over 250 girls through after-school programs, summer camps and studio classes.
