Crystal first began cheering at the age of six. She devoted countless hours of her childhood to youth all-star cheerleading, first as a participant and later as a coach. Crystal was a member of the Maryland Twisters Senior F5 Squad and was on the first team to win a National Title! Crystal was also involved with the Miss Teen USA pageant organization.
Crystal entered the professional cheerleading world as a Ravens Cheerleader at the age 18 and has loved it since day one. She was a Ravens cheerleader for six-years, was named the 2008 Pro-Bowl Cheerleader, and also held the distinguished titles of Captain and Choreographer. In the summer of 2005, she joined up with the Armed Forces Entertainment Tour to entertain troops overseas, visiting 11 different cities in a two-week period. Crystal still has a great relationship with the Ravens Cheerleading Program and has spent the last 7 years consulting for potential NFL cheerleaders and helping at tryouts.
Outside of the cheerlead industry, Crystal has her clinical social work license, LCSW-C with a B.A and a Masters degree in Social Work.
Crystal’s Pro Tip
The life of a Pro Cheerleader is a demanding one. While it looks like nothing but fun and glamour, it is truly a lifestyle. You must be able to juggle your studies, careers, family priorities, and social life with practices, promos, and games. You must keep in mind that this cannot be a spur of the moment decision. Understand the requirements and make sure you can fulfill those requirements. If you can… and if you do… this Pro Cheerleader life is one you will never forget!
