I don’t know about you, but I spent the holidays having great laughs with family and friends, opening and giving wonderful gifts of love, and eating some not-so-healthy but oh-so yummy food! It felt great!!
However, last week… just one week into the New Year… I was already starting to feel overwhelmed… with client work, Sideline Prep obligations, events, house cleaning, to-do list items, my future, etc.
So I sat down, took some time for ME, relaxed, and thought about what I want to accomplish over the next 90 days to one year. As I started to revisit my “purpose” in life… and where I want to be in the next few years, I began to settle down and relax.
Then, I naturally began my planning. After an hour of reflecting, brainstorming, writing, and “dreaming”… I had a plan of action and sense of peace!!
I figured if I was going through this… maybe others were too. Then I decided to create a Two-Part Video Series about:

Great question, right??
It’s easy to think we’ll get things done simply because we want to do them, but the truth is that intention and desire aren’t enough. We have to set GOALS to reach our dreams because our goals are what keep us accountable, help us reach further, and allow us to celebrate or re-evaluate when a goal passes.
Often we get caught up in the day-to-day activities of our life and we forget to challenge ourselves and reach for bigger and better things. Making the practice of setting goals or actions or resolutions or whatever you call them is very importance to reach “excellence” and become your best you!
Well… in “honor” of the New Year… I wanted to pass on some tips on how to set yourself up for success in the upcoming year. Don’t give up on your New Year’s Resolutions, dreams, goals, or aspirations yet. Use these 7 Steps to Accomplish Your Goals & Get “Stuff” Done this Year!!

Accomplish Your Goals and Get Stuff Done!
Step 1: Determine Your Purpose & Vision. What makes you tick? What brings you joy?
Step 2: Brainstorm Ways to Reach Your Vision & “Live” Your Purpose – Break them
Step 3: Focus & Prioritize Your Brainstorming List. You can’t accomplish everything all in the same year. So what things will get you closer to your Vision?
Step 4: Write Down Your Goals & Create a Plan of Action. Writing your goals down
Step 5: Create a Winning Environment. Keep your goals in the forefront of your mind.Monitor your progress as you move through each week and each month. Surround yourself with people that will encourage and motivate you. Limit your interactions with others… if you can. Get an Accountability Partner to help and support one another. Finally, get a healthy and motivated mindset.
Step 6: TAKE ACTION!! Enough said right?
Step 7: Celebrate Your Success! YAY!!! Pat yourself on your back or give yourself a high-five when you accomplish your tasks and goals.
Tip: Consistency is key. Start using these steps and just stick with it. Make yourself and your goals a TOP priority this year.
