Hello! My name is Shay, and I am proud to say I am a Washington Redskins Cheerleader (WRC)! This is my rookie season and so far it has been an amazing experience! I would not have made the team without the expertise and guidance of Sideline Prep, more specifically, Sideline Attraction, Sideline Model and Sideline Nutrition.

I first auditioned for WRC three years ago and knew nothing about what to expect at prep classes and auditions. I found out about Sideline Prep too late in the process and was unable to meet with them. I got cut first round and knew I had LOTS of work to do for the next time I planned to audition. Over the course of a few years, I kept in contact with them and planned to meet earlier in fall/winter to prep for upcoming try-outs rather than waiting a few weeks before. I took some time off to get married, but after I got married last year, and all the wedding planning was behind me, I was “all in” and ready to put in work towards my dream of becoming an NFL cheerleader this upcoming season. Sideline Prep was my number one resource for help! They helped me with my make-up, my audition outfits, nutrition and fitness, modeling and my application photos… thanks to the photoshoot they held a few weeks before auditions. A few weeks later I advanced through rounds 1 and 2 of auditions, and was advancing to the finals!! I was ecstatic! Sideline Prep was with me every day during finals week and the day of the finals live show open to the public. My dream came true that day, which also happened to be my birthday, and making the team gave me an overwhelming feeling of joy and accomplishment for all the hard work it took to get there.

It may take a few tries (and cries!) before you reach your goal, but please don’t ever get discouraged! Sideline Prep will be with you EVERY step of the way and will continue to cheer you on! All the Sideline Prep coaches have experienced the same feelings and emotions. Go after your own pro-cheer dream by allowing Sideline Prep to strengthen your confidence and provide you with the knowledge and guidance to achieve it! They helped make my dream come true, and they can do the same for you!!
