Lee-Ann Doncevic

Inspired by her grandmother, who danced professionally in NYC, Lee-Ann’s love for dance began at a young age. She grew up in Southern Maryland, where she trained in ballet, tap, jazz, and modern dance.

As a young dancer, she competed nationally and performed on various stages, such as Tomorrowland Stage at Walt Disney World and the NYC Tap Dance Festival. Lee-Ann earned a Bachelor of Arts in Dance from the University of Maryland, where she focused on choreographic development. She has danced professionally for the NBA’s Washington Wizards dance team for three seasons and performed with a modern dance company in Washington, DC. Upon moving to Philly, Lee-Ann recently earned her MBA degree in business and works for a non-profit organization.

She has been teaching dance for over 10 years; specializing in jazz technique, ballet barre, and tap dance instruction. She enjoys the inspiration she gets from teaching in various studios in the arts culture-rich Philly area. Along with dance, Lee-Ann began her Vinyasa Yoga Teacher Training Program (RYT 200) and looks forward to continuing her practice into yoga therapy in the future.

Lee-Ann’s Pro Tip
One of the most important things that you can come prepared with as a dancer is your confidence! Own every move, dance full-out every time, and do everything you can to showcase your personality! Have fun in every moment, and others will be attracted to that energy! Let your light shine bright!

You have to Learn from the Best to be the Best!
